Dresses
The chest measurement is taken around the bust line. The waist is measured from the narrowest part and a hip measurement from the fullest part. For the length, a measurement is taken from the top of the shoulder to the hem.
Skirts
The waist measurement is taken around the waistband. If it is a high waist or fitted skirt we may include a hip measurement, which is taken from the fullest part of the hip. We measure the length from the waistband to the hem of the garment.
Blouses & Shirts, Jumpers, Sweatshirts, Coats and Jackets
The chest measurement is taken from just below the underarm. The length is measured from the top of the shoulder to the hem of the item. The sleeve is measured from the shoulder to the cuff.
Jeans/Trousers
The waist measurement is taken around the waist band. The inside leg is also measured.
